Concept DHA^TM is one of the smallest, single dose Prenatal Multivitamin Supplements with DHA and EPA. Concept DHA^TM is designed to supply nutritional supplementation for women throughout pregnancy and during the postnatal period to lactating and non-lactating mothers. Concept DHA^TM may also be used to improved the nutritional status of women before conception.

Directions: one capsule daily, orally, between meals, or as prescribed by a physician.
Ingredients: Ferrous Fumurate (anhydrous (equivalent to about 17.5 mg of elemental iron) 53.5mg, Polysaccharide Iron Complex (equivalent to about 17.5 of Elemental Iron) 38 mg, Vitamin C (from ProAscorb C) 25 mg, Folic Acid 1 mg, Thiamine Mononitrate(B1) 2mg, Riboflavin(B2) 3mg, Niacin (B3, from ProAscorb C) 1.8 mg, d-Calcium Pantothenate (B5) 5mg, Pyridoxine HCl (B6) 25mg, Biotin (B7) 300mcg, Cyanocobalamin (B12) 12.5mcg, copper (as copper sulfate) 2mg, Magnesium (as magnesium Sulfate) 5mg, Zinc (as Zinc Sulfate) 10mg, Omega-3 Fatty Acids 200mg.
Side Effects: Folic Acid: Allergic sensitizations have been reported following both oral and parenteral adminstration of folic acid.
Warnings: Ingestion of more than 3 grams of omega-3 fatty acids from fish oils per day may have potential antithrombotic effects, including an increased bleeding time and INR (international normalized ratio.) DHA should be avoided in patients with inherited or acquired bleeding diatheses, including those taking anticoagulants.
